So it's still taking me a while to reply to all the comments, and art uploads have suddenly stopped again... but for a very good and enjoyable and PROFITABLE reason! I've been working two jobs for the past two months, so I'm pretty exhausted. One of them involves writing and producing on-air, sponsored spots for TNT/TBS. (Not even as exciting as it sounds. Which places it firmly in the negative-excitement category. Thbpbpbp.)

Today, while replying to some comments, I saw a banner ad for Adult Swim's new lineup of Venture Bros Products here on dA. It was kind of weird to see a couple of my worlds collide like that, which prodded me into mentioning what I've been up to. And, besides, they're selling some pretty great stuff in that shop. The group in charge of pulling all this stuff together is a much smaller team than you'd expect. I'm totally willing to give a little extra push in their direction.

SO HERE'S AN ANNOUNCEMENT. I'll be attending Nekocon in Hampton, Virginia this coming weekend (starting 11/6) along with my darling-sweetie-lady-pie, . You may know her as the artist of LEGENDS OF THE DARK CRYSTAL, a manga prequel to the Henson film of the same name (minus the "legends of" part, obviously). She'll be selling prints, selling/signing copies of Vol. 1, and taking commissions... but-- more importantly-- she has a panel on Friday about the project and her process that I'm helping her with. If you're planning on being there, find us in the Artist Alley or come to the panel!

As for me, I'll be doing $1 sketch commissions with pencil and sharpie. I've done these a few times before and, while stressful because of demand, they're always a lot of fun. The problem is that I never remember to take pictures of them, they just go flying so fast.

...Aside from that, I'm still catching up on old comments whenever I get the chance. More than a few people are going to get a reply that's over a year late. Ah ha ha. Ha. Also, I guess dA starts to dump deviations from your inbox after it leaps past 10,000? Because, uh... that's where I am. And the number keeps fluctuating up and down. So, uh... I guess I'd better... start sorting through those. BUT ONLY AFTER I REPLY TO ALL THE COMMENTS, AAAAAUGH.

So I disappeared for forever and a lot of you have worried that I might be dead and that is, under normal circumstances, a VALID CONCERN.

SORRY I MADE SOME OF YOU SAD, THAT WAS A MEAN THING TO DO.

As you'd probably gathered, I've been fairly busy for the past year, distracted by a marathon of complications financial, medical, personal, and career...al. I also decided to kind of hide from the more social aspects of the internet, by and large, which was a nice break.

The case here, however, was one that simply got away from me. I always make it a point to reply to every comment I receive here, and I entered a lull where I just failed to reply for about a month. I set aside the comments here to take care of later, but then a month became two months and two months became half a year and next thing you know I'm scared to even update because there are so many comments left to reply to.

That's probably really stupid, but that's how it goes for my brain.

I have a lot of catching up to do, stuff to share, but bear with me while I commit to replying first.
