This is sort of a work-in-progress to sell as a large poster in the AWA art auction. Still needs work, let me know what you think.

Yoshi's Island is one of those games that sucked up hours and hours of my childhood, and the final boss fight will always be fondly remembered as one of those moments that made me go "OH MY GOD WHAT" as a kid.

The fact that someone bothered to put that fight up on youtube makes me giddy.

Looking forward to Yoshi's Island 2 for the DS with GREAT anticipation.

Changed some colors and stuff. I think the brighter colors work better. Call me crazy. Iono.

::EDIT 2::
"Crayonized" the platform at the bottom and corrected some outline issues. Final version, I'm done screwing around with this one.

i never played much of yoshi's island, but wasnt the background look like it was done with crayons or something?

All the backgrounds had that crayonish feel to them. You can sort of see that in the youtube link.
Part of the charm... You think I should rework some it to look more crayonish?

I remember this fight, this terrified me the first time I saw it. I recently got to play it again, and it still scared the crap outta me XD I guess I'm a bit chickenhearted, eh?

I started playing this game again after receiving my SNES from my parents' house. It is the only game in the Super Mario Bros. series that I have beaten on my own. I love this game!!! And the end battle is my favorite. It's so fun. :D

OMG YOUSHI'S STORRRRRYYYYY!!! I can do all the Yoshi sounds in that game. XDDDD!!! OMG OMG OMG I need to own this game. ;3;!! Answer me this, is there a hidden purple one?? The white ones voice killed me. So high pitched and CUUUUTE!
