invited me to the February Atlanta Drink & Draw, an event to be held about once a month where professional artists from the Atlanta area all converge on the Highlander bar and just sit and draw and drink. (Not necessarily in that order, as the title may indicate.)

It's a thing that started over on the West coast and got big over there... Lots of big names in the comic community just gather together and have fun ripping on one another and just churning out drawings and sketches. So someone decided to get it started here on the East coast, too. It's a really, really cool idea and I had a blast, this being my first one. I'm planning on going to the next D&D in March, and any other Atlanta area artists (of legal drinking age) should look into it.

It should also be noted that I do not partake of alcohol, myself. So these doodles all came from a sober mind. I'm not sure what that says about me.

Oh well.

I really wish my artist friends drank! I would love to do that! In theory maybe it would loosen me up a little. These sketches are amazing by the way, even if you weren't drinking! I laughed so hard at your frog!
